Pontianak (ANTARA News) - The West Kalimantan Provincial Capital of Pontianak is ready to host ASEAN Qoran Reading Competition (MTQ) in July 2012.
"As the host of the event, we are ready to prepare the accommodation, transportation, and other supporting facilities for the Qoran readers from ASEAN countries," Pontianak Deputy Mayor Paryadi said here on Friday.
He explained that the ASEAN Qoran Reading Competition would be held in Pontianak city but the management was the responsibility of the provincial government and the organizing committee.
"In principle we will only prepare the supporting facility and infrastructure that have been available here but the rest will be managed by the organizing committee and the provincial government," Paryadi said.
