Fresenius
Kabi Bidiphar, a joint venture health care company, opened its new production
facility in the coastal city of Quy Nhon in central Vietnam on September 26.
Frsenius Kabi Bidiphar SJC is a joint-venture
between Frsenius Kabi, a market leader in infusion therapy and clinical
nutrition, and Bidiphar, a state-owned health care company in Quy Nhon.
Fresenius Kabi Bidiphar is focused on therapy
and care of critically and chronically ill patients inside and outside the
hospital. The company’s new production plant will employ nearly 380 employees.
The production plant, built at a cost of
approximately VND340 billion (US$16 million), will produce around 50 million
infusion tubs and 130 million injection bottles per year, which have already
been certified by Good Manufacturing Practice guideline standards set by the
World Health Organization.
The new production plant is spread out over an
area of 15,000 square meters.
