MANILA, Philippines — Mass Communication
students, college editors, and campus journalists who wish to enhance their
knowledge in modern communications technology and hone their writing skills are
invited to participate in Global Media Forum (GMF) and the 16th National Press
Congress on Dec. 8-10, at the Boracay Regency Resort and Convention Center in
Boracay, Aklan.
The twin event, organized by the Publishers
Association of the Philippines Inc. (PAPI) and the Boracay Global Press Corps
(BGPC) in cooperation with the Boracay Foundation Inc. (BFI), will afford
students and campus journalists the opportunity to listen, learn, and
participate with members of the International Federation of Journalists of
Belgium, World Association of Newspapers of Austria, and the Global Editors
Network of Spain.
The three-day media event is expected to draw
around 500 journalists and media practitioners from around the world. For
