She affirmed Viet Nam's commitment to support the organisation's goals, especially in fostering its role and image in the international arena by joining hands with others to manage and solve global issues.
Clement said he highly valued Viet Nam's participation in the organisation, affirming that it was a friend and active member of the organisation.
He expressed his belief that Viet Nam would continue to contribute to the Francophone community's development and that the organisation's member countries would continue to co-operate effectively with each other.
Also yesterday, Clement and representatives from the organisation's seven partners signed a co-operation agreement for the second phase of the project to enhance French language teaching in Southeast Asia.
Cambodia, Laos and Viet Nam are among countries that have carried out the project since 2006.
