New York (Viet Nam News/ANN) - Vietnam and
Bhutan have agreed to establish bilateral diplomatic relations.
The agreement was concluded at the UN
Headquarters in New York on Thursday by Vietnamese Ambassador to the United
Nations Le Hoai Trung and his counterpart from Bhutan, Latu Oangchuk.
A document on the agreement will be sent to
the UN General Secretary to be filed as an official legal document of the UN.
Under the agreement, the two parties will send
ambassadors to each other's capital cities and apply the 1961 Vienna Convention
on Diplomatic Relations.
