The
Iranian Embassy held a banquet in Hanoi on Friday to celebrate the 33rd
anniversary of the Islamic Revolution’s Victory Day (Feb. 11).
Speaking at the banquet, the Iranian
Ambassador to Vietnam Seyed Javad Ghavam Shahidi said that over the past 33
years, despite a wide range of difficulties and challenges, Iran has recorded
achievements in several areas such as science, technology, economics and social
development.
He added that he is very pleased at the
positive way bilateral relations between Vietnam and Iran have developed.
Vietnam ’s Deputy Foreign Minister Ho Xuan Son
praised Iran ’s achievements over the past 33 years, especially in its economy.
He also highlighted Iran ’s efforts to become
the world’s 18th largest economy.
The Deputy FM finished up by stating that he
believes the Iranian people will continue to prosper and bilateral cooperation
between both countries will flourish in the future.
