Laos - Toyota Motor ( Thailand) donates 6,000 notebooks to underprivileged students



The Toyota Motor ( Thailand) has donated 60,000 notebooks, worth over 200 million kip, to the Ministry of Education and Sports to further distribute to underprivileged students nationwide.

The handover of the packages took place at the Ministry of Education and Sports on February 29.

The donation was presented by Executive Advisor, Toyota Motor ( Thailand) Marketing Department, Mr. Pakorn Vongvitayapirom, to Mr. Kongsy Sengmany, Vice-Minister of Education and Sports, and Director of Vientiane Education and Sports, Mr. Somphou Keophanya.

"This notebooks donation is one of social contributions Toyota intends to be part of providing education development support to Lao students," said Mr. Pakorn.

" Toyota hopes this contribution will be part of making Lao students educated for future development in the country," said Mr. Pakorn.

On the occasion, Mr. Kongsy Sengmany expressed thanks to the donor for the assistance to be further distributed to needy students in Laos.

On March 1-2, Toyota Motor ( Thailand) will also travel to donate 10,000 notebooks, worth 100 million kip, to students in Luang Prabang, Savanaket and Champassak provinces.
