Pontianak
(ANTARA News) - The West Kalimantan
Provincial Capital of Pontianak is ready to host ASEAN Qoran Reading
Competition (MTQ) in July 2012.
"As
the host of the event, we are ready to prepare the accommodation,
transportation, and other supporting facilities for the Qoran readers from
ASEAN countries," Pontianak Deputy Mayor Paryadi said here on Friday.
He
explained that the ASEAN Qoran Reading Competition would be held in Pontianak
city but the management was the responsibility of the provincial government and
the organizing committee.
"In

committee and the provincial government," Paryadi said.
Meanwhile,
West Kalimantan branch of Nahdlatul Ulama Chairman Muhammad Zeet Hamdy Assovie
said the event would be conducted on July 3-8, 2012.
