HIS Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam has
consented to send a congratulatory message to His Excellency Barack H Obama,
President of the United States of America, on the occasion of his victory in
the United States presidential elections.
In a statement from the Office of
His Majesty yesterday, the monarch congratulated President Barack Obama on his
re-election as President of the United States of America.
His Majesty wished the President
continued success in his second term as president and looked forward to
continuing work together to strengthen the long-standing bilateral ties and the
important partnership in the region.
Concluding his message, His Majesty
conveyed his kindest regards and best wishes to President Barack Obama and his
family.
