Laos - Lao Airlines opens direct flights, Vientiane-Guangzhou

(KPL) The Lao Airlines last Monday inaugurated a direct flight between Vientiane Capital of Laos and Guangzhou of China to facilitate the increased flow of foreign visitors, trade cooperation between Laos and China.

The Lao Airlines also aims its opening of the air route at ensuring its integration into the international airline industry.

The opening ceremony for the new flight took place at the Wattay International Airport in the presence of President of the Lao Airlines, Mr. Somphone Douangdara, and relevant officials.

Initially, the Lao Airlines will fly three times per week: Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday with departing Vientiane at 13:10 and arriving Guangzhou at 16:10 (Chinese time) and departing Guangzhou at 17:10 (Chinese time) and arriving Vientiane at 18:10 (Lao time).
