The
Vietnam Ministry of Education and Training is seeking applicants for 16
graduate scholarships offered by the Canadian government under its “Programme
Canadien de bourses de la Francophonie” (PCBF) program.
Candidates must be 50 or under and have
master’s or doctoral degrees with good academic records.
Candidates must also be proficient in French
and a fair command of English will be a plus.
Applicants will sit for a writing test and an
interview in Vietnam before going through the final screening by the
Association of Universities and Colleges of Canada.
Scholarship winners will be granted full
tuition, medical insurance, monthly allowances, return tickets, and visa and
passport fees by the Canadian government.
Successful candidates must return to Vietnam
to work after completing their programs. Candidates must send applications in
Vietnamese and French online and to the Vietnam International Education
Development at 21 Le Thanh Ton Street, Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi by November 1.

PCBF scholarships were established by the
Canadian government in 1986 and more than 1,958 scholarships have been awarded
to people all over the world since then.
