Bridge – The Government Inspectorate met
with a delegation from the Republic of Korea’s Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights
Commission in Hanoi on May 14 to discuss their joint efforts in combating
corruption.
At
their meeting, Deputy Chief Inspector Tran Duc Luong gave a briefing on
Vietnam’s experiences when carrying out inspections, dealing with complaints
and denunciations and preventing corruption.
The key
measures that need to be taken are amending the regulations on land prices and
policies on compensation for people who are resettled, as well as providing
employment for people whose land has been taken back, he said.
To make
the fight against corruption more effective, both parties agreed to step up the
exchange of information on the key measures and work together when training up
the cadres that are in charge of preventing corruption.
