A
delegation of 8 French companies, specialised in innovative solutions and
equipment dedicated to telecommunications areas, arrived in Hanoi on September
22nd, 2011.
The working visit, which lasts 2 days
(September 22nd and 23rd), lies within the framework of a collective mission
organized by the French Trade Commission UBIFRANCE in Vietnam.
The representatives of the 8 companies include
Anevia, AwoX, Dassault Systèmes, HAIKU, Kymacom, OneAccess Networks, STS Group
and Viaccess. They are expected to introduce their advanced expertise and
know-how and seek commercial and technological partnerships and cooperation
with local telecommunications players during their 2-day working visit.
The ICTs (Information and Communication
Technologies) are viewed as a focus in French-Vietnamese economic and trade
relations. This collective mission is seen as an attempt to boost the ties in a
context when the Vietnamese telecommunications industry has seen fast growth
and is on the way to undergo massive technological and infrastructural
upgrading.
