The world gas price is currently offering at $850/ton, up
$50/ton compared to early December 2011.
With this increase, the
domestic gas retail price could rise by 15,000 dong per 12 kg cylinder in early
January 2012. The new retail price to consumers would be about 366,000 dong/12
kg cylinder.
The reason pushing up the world
gas price was attributable to the highly increasing demand of gas, according to
businesses.
