HIS Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of
Brunei Darussalam and Her Majesty Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Saleha
departed for Kuala Lumpur yesterday to begin a special head of state visit to
Malaysia.
Accompanying
His Majesty and Her Majesty were His Royal Highness Prince 'Abdul Malik, His
Royal Highness Prince 'Abdul Wakeel, Her Royal Highness Princess Hajah Hafizah
Sururul Bolkiah and Her Royal Highness Princess Ameerah Wardatul Bolkiah.
Her
Royal Highness Princess Hajah Masna and Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Lela Cheteria
Sahibun Najabah Pengiran Anak Haji Abdul Aziz Pengiran Jaya Negara Pengiran
Haji Abu Bakar were also among the delegation.
Before
their departure from Istana Nurul Iman, a doa selamat was read by the State
Mufti Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Seri Maharaja Dato Paduka Seri Setia (Dr) Ustaz
Hj Abdul Aziz Juned.
Present
at the doa selamat ceremony were His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee
Billah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister's Office,
Her Royal Highness Paduka Seri Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Anak Sarah, His
Royal Highness Prince 'Abdul Malik, His Royal Highness Prince 'Abdul Wakeel and
Her Royal Highness Princess Ameerah Wardatul Bolkiah.
Upon
His Majesty and Her Majesty's departure at His Majesty the Sultan's flight
hangar in Rimba, His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah and Her
Royal Highness Paduka Seri Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Anak Sarah; His Royal
Highness Prince Mohamed Bolkiah, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade; Her
Royal Highness Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Zariah; Her Royal
Highness Princess Hajah Amal Umi Kalthum Al-Islam and Her Royal Highness
Princess Hajah Amal Jefriah were present to bid them farewell.
Also
present were Yang Teramat Mulia Pengiran Cheterias, cabinet ministers, members
of councils, deputy ministers, Royal Brunei Armed Forces Commander, Police
Commander, His Excellency Dato' Abdullah Sani Omar, High Commissioner of
Malaysia to Brunei and their spouses.
